Does anyone know of any local naked walks or rambles in the Portsmouth area. I love to be naked outside and like most to not want to cause offence and hence be arrested.

Check out the SOC site, they have a range of walks and venues.

Rob - I spent a day down in Hampshire a couple of weeks ago.  I searched for a place I could walk on my way back home and came accross the nature reserve at Ashford Hill - just near Basingstoke.

I had previously printed off a trail guide from a walking forum and used that. Mid afternoon I parked and couldn't see anyone else there. I walked for 5 mins then stripped off and enjoyed the hour naked.

Not close to you but maybe close enough for an outing

I don't know the Portsmouth area, but feel certain that suitable places exist. It might take a while to locate them but if they were easy to find everyone would go there. (OS maps and Google earth are your friends and I recommend where's the path as a neat little web ap to help plan possible routes).

I strongly suggest that you read the section of the NUFF website dealing with naturism and the law so that you are familiar with your legal position and know how to avoid being arrested in the unlikely event that anyone else chooses to take offence, call the police and that they bother to turn out.

Have fun and enjoy your  naked walking, there really is no better way to enjoy the countryside in weather like we've been having lately.

Have fun,

Ian.

I recommend the SOC site - it did it for me! And there are some not too far from you!

Thanks for the 'where's the path' link. I've got a new toy!  🙂

I agree. I start with searching for a big area with no roads and then home in on that. Find walks that start with minimal car parking and paths with as few intersections as possible. I prefer open spaces to woods as then you are sure what is near you. You will become more observant and see far more wildlife when you are nude.
