Hi,

can't believe I did it!

I took a short diversion off the A34 to Watership Down. Walking west from the small road that goes across the downs I came to the hill fort on Ladle Hill. Beautiful part of the world. I decided to strip under a small tree and thought I would just manage a few yards. I had brought a backpack and emergency shorts, so I set off back towards the road, just planning to walking naked for the "next stretch". I ended up walking all the way back to the small lane just before the road. Not very far but I lot further than I had imagined I could.

Most exhilarating thing I have done for ages. Absolutely great feeling. Truly wonderful and I'm still smiling. There seems to be a sense of immediacy that heightens your consciousness as well as the sensual feeling of exposing your whole body. Perhaps its just the need to be alert? Can't wait for the next time.

I would recommend Ladle Hill (SU478568) and I plan to return when I get the chance. Could be popular during the day but it was 8pm when the clothes came off and there was no-one around. 🙂

Well done! Just be warned, walking properly dressed like that can be addictive and once you get the bug no walk with clothing on will feel quite as good as it could.

Have fun,

Ian.

No need for the warning. I'm already addicted.

Seriously, this is an issue I am struggling with. I want to take my clothes off all the time and I find myself aggressive and irritable when I am in textiles. I guess I need to learn to control the urge and get the right balance. One of the things that helps is planning something like the next walk.

Maybe I should start another thread to get advice for newbies struggling with the tensions of naturism?

Well I once thought the thrill of being naked ina place where others might be around risking being seen was a bonus on top of the general feeling of air and sun on your whole body.

Until you get up the courage to speak to someone who goes tot he same are regularly to tell them you are a naturist and ask if they are comfortable with it.  They say yes it's fine.  Now you find the walk even better - completely relaxed in the knowledge there is someone else around but you're not going to offend them.

So there you are - that's your next step - find people who walk in 'your space' and talk to them. If anyone says they are not comfortable with the idea just be polite and tell them you won't do it when you know they're about.
