A couple of years ago, I posted that my wife was nude in the garden for the first time.
Today she suggested we go to our local nudist beach at Eastney. We got there early owing to the exceptionally warm weather. To my amazement she stripped naked and layed on her towel on her stomach. Then after a few minutes she got onto her side, and then onto her back. She layed there completely naked with nothing shielding her.
It's been a long time gently encouraging her to do this. I had to let her do it in her own time. We nearly got there last year at Studland with her only wearing a Tee shirt walking along the shoreline with me. She just had to go that little bit further, just a little bit braver, which happend today. I must admit my bits started to stir watching her nakedness, so I offered to rub some sunscreen on her and I took my time doing it. Well someone has to do it !
She will want to go there often, as it's mostly my wife who suggests we go to a nudie beach. I firmly believe now she will continue being naked on the beach each time we go, because she's got over that last hurdle. Happy days.

Its great that she has become comfortable with this wonderful pastime which has so many possibilities.
Went skinny dipping in the Thames today which was a great feeling, particularly as it was my first swim in over 2 months. There are lots of nice quiet spots on the river where you can go.

Judging by where I've skinny-dipped plus the reports I've seen elsewhere there are decent quiet spots all the way from Allhallows to Lechlade.
I wouldn't recommend between Greenwich and Hammersmith though. 🤩 😲

This reminds me that although we took our trailer-tent holidays at camp sites near nude beaches where my wife would happily strip off, she drew the line at camping at a naturist club.
Then on one Friday when we were going to go camping for the weekend I decided to ring one easily accessible club to see if they had room for us if I managed to get there and was told that my wife had phoned earlier to book a pitch.

Thank you for sharing this Codge, as for a complete newbie myself, stories like yours have given me the belief and encouragement, that the final step of removing clothes completely is no big deal

Please read my first experience of being nude at the beach. I was on my own, so did'nt have my wife there to back me up, so I just got on with and stripped bare. I'll never forget the feeling of standing there (and I was standing) and being naked. It was a tremendous experience, and not to be forgotten.

That was at Eastney, a lovely easy to get to beach with a good mix of nudies.
I met the woman who is now my wife online in 2000, she replied to my profile as a free member of a dating site. In my profile I said I was a nudist, and she admits that this made her interested.
She had a very limited experience of public topfree and nudity, having been to pagan camps in the 90s when her daughter was still feeding and the showers were unisex and basically sprinklers around a converted horsebox. The normality was to strip off outside , then dry and dress in the sun.
Our first holiday together was to a nudist finca in Spain where she was naked before I was, but nudity then was purely within the grounds.
Her first nudist beach was Holkham, I expected her to be a bit reticent actually in public for the first time but apart from it being a few seconds between her bra and panties coming off it was no problem.
Over the next few years we stayed at a couple of naturist campsites, Lower Poulza Post and St. Anns Cottage, and tried both Studland and once Morfa. We went to Watford swim once but travel was a pain (3 hours stuck on the M25 coming home), and went to Kelvedon several times.
Unfortunately with the menopause came body image issues and it became just home where she would get naked, other than in hotel rooms if we were away, but then we stayed at Manor Farm in Strete in 2018 (although the only time she went naked outside the tent was at 4am one morning to check out the guy ropes during hurricane Bronagh ) and she has said she might be up for a beach or swim visit next year.
