Hi guys and gals. Done a bit of life modelling in the past and happy to model for sketching, painting or photography. I've been on both sides of the easel actually, so would love to be part of a group or individual session where I can maybe sketch too. Hit me up if you'd like to chat more about this.

I'm not sure how you get into this, but its certainly something I would consider too.

There are a number of photographic studios in the North West, but its really difficult to get photographic work as a male.

Probably art schools or evening classes would be start.

Good Luck

I’d consider this too. If I can sit still long enough!
I think it would do my confidence a power of good. I’m ok being seen naked on a beach etc, but to have such scrutiny would be out of my comfort zone! Sometimes we have to challenge ourselves to enrich our life.
Not sure what’s around the Norfolk Suffolk area but I’ll start looking now as I’m inspired by this post.

I've got a home photography studio and have photographed a couple of people from here, open to doing so again if anyone is local!

I was told by a friend who is an art/drawing teacher that she has seen too many male models who start okay and end up altering the way they pose to expose themselves more, in a lewd and exhibitionist way. It had gotten so bad that she started to refuse anyone she did not personally know and thought would be reliable. It had also been a discussion point among art teachers she knew. Just know that this is an issue before thinking about talking to anyone about posing for their class.

I thought you just kept still for one session. Photographing nudes is much simpler, once you’ve set up the backdrop, back lighting, front lighting, wind machine, lens filters and oh and the model ;o)

I have done a few life drawing sessions, only one as a model though. Shame that some men have done as described as it gives all males a bad name and makes it difficult for them to get modelling assignments.
